Opportunity is ongoing until Labor Day weekend
Age Requirement: Adults, Teens, Volunteer Duet Time Commitment: Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays -Choose your shifts Volunteer shifts run June through Labor Day weekend at Tamarack Nature Center
This opportunity is designed to spotlight Tamarack volunteers in the ways they shine most. As a Discovery Guide you will share fun educational talks/activities with visitors exploring Discovery Hollow. Perhaps you know a thing or two about animal tracks or maybe you would like to lead a simple art activity. Showcase your knowledge about going green or rain gardens to spread the meaning of their importance. Engage the community by sharing a topic that you are passionate about. This is a great excuse to research something you want to know more about. You don't have to be an expert. ;)
Organization Background Tamarack Nature Center is a 320 acre nature preserve within Bald Eagle-Otter Lakes Regional Park, owned and operated by Ramsey County. Tamarack is dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding of our natural resources for future generations.
