Abstract A KSE News with poster! Learn that it takes a lot more than just trees to make a forest. School kids in North Minneapolis, MN have started a native forest in their own "neck of the woods" - find out how you and your students can grow a forest too. Be sure to check out "Treesources" for lots of ways to get more information about trees. Learn the right way to plant and care for a tree. "Woodwork" shares ideas on how we can continue to use trees and yet protect forests and jobs. Put the colorful Forest poster up in your classroom and have the students sign the tree trunk pledge to plant a tree or plant to help the Earth.

KSE News use colorful KSE kid's artwork and are written so that even grown-ups can understand. All KSE educational materials are reviewed by members of the KSE Advisory Board which includes experienced educators and school principals.

The KSE mission is to educate, inspire and empower children to protect the Earth.
